Deportivo La Coruña received an offer for 21-year-old Belgian and Cameroonian centre-back Lucas Noubi during the winter transfer window. Elche was prepared to pay between 7 and 8 million euros for the player in the last days of the window, but the transfer was not completed. Interest in Noubi, who has become a regular starter in LaLiga 2 with 17 appearances this season, continues. AS Roma is reportedly among several other clubs monitoring him ahead of new offers that are expected in the summer. Noubi joined Deportivo in July 2025 and is under contract until June 2029. The defender has three caps for Belgium's U21 team, and his current market value is €1.50m, according to Transfermarkt.
