According to TYC, an agreement for the transfer of Lucas Janson to Gimnasia y Esgrima La Plata has been successfully reached with Boca after negotiations that lasted for more than a month.

According to TYC, Lucas Janson's transfer to Gimnasia (LP) is imminent. Lucas Janson has accepted Gimnasia (LP)'s offer and is awaiting a final signature to become the new signing for the club, known as the Wolf, on loan from Boca. The forward will join the squad led by Ariel "Pata" Pereyra on a one-year loan. The coach was instrumental in the deal due to his liking for the attacker.

Argentine winger Lucas Janson, 31, may be seeking a new club after not securing a place at Boca since his arrival from Vélez in July 2023.
