According to his agent Pablo Rivero, Ajax and its technical director Cruijff submitted an offer for 21-year-old Uruguayan winger Lucas Agazzi. The player's club, Defensor Sporting, rejected the proposal, which they considered to be insufficient. Agazzi's contract with the Uruguayan club runs until the end of 2027. His transfer value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €1.8 million. He has been capped 15 times for the Uruguay U20 team. In the 2025/2026 season, Agazzi made 15 appearances in the Liga AUF Apertura, scoring one goal and providing four assists, and also played in four matches in the Liga AUF Intermedio. He has also been linked with Torino.
