Tuttomercato reports that Luca Schirone arrived at Cesena from Pineto during the summer on a loan with an obligation to buy.

According to Nicolo Schira, Luca Schirone will sign with Cesena today, arriving from Pineto on a loan with an option to buy and a contract until 2030 (1+3).

Cesena has identified Pineto's Italian midfielder Luca Schirone, born in 2003, as its primary target to reinforce its midfield for the upcoming season. After a positive campaign in Serie C that drew interest from several clubs, Cesena seems to be in a leading position to sign him. Il Centro reports that contacts between the parties have started and that the Romagna-based club is taking specific actions to finalize the transfer. Pineto is reportedly already evaluating alternatives for Schirone's potential departure. Schirone, who has three caps for Italy U16, joined Pineto in July 2023 and has a contract until June 30, 2027. Transfermarkt estimates his current market value to be €300k.
