AC Carpi announced that it has acquired the sporting rights of defender Luca Nesi on a temporary basis. Nesi has signed a one-year loan from Bologna, expiring on 30 June 2027. Nesi is a versatile defender who was born in 2006 and is a native of Bologna. He came through the Rossoblù youth sector. During the last season in red and blue, he was a consistent member of coach Stefano Morrone’s Primavera 1 defense, making 38 appearances and reaching the category’s play-off semi-final. Nesi stated that he is very happy to come to Carpi and that it is an important step for his career. He said he believes this is the best place to begin his professional career. He also said that he has already spoken with the President, the Director, and the Coach, and that they conveyed great enthusiasm to him for the season that is about to begin. He added that he wants to settle into this new environment as soon as possible in order to help the team achieve its objectives.
