Empoli Football Club has reached an agreement with Football Club Groningen for the permanent transfer of Lovro Štubljar. The player spent the previous season with Nk Celjie and Nk Domzale, making 17 and 18 appearances respectively, but never debuted for Empoli. The young goalkeeper, born in 2004, will continue his career in the Netherlands, marking a new chapter after his time in Slovenia.
