Through discussions with Dinamo's coach Kovačević, Zvonimir Boban, and the sports director, he was persuaded about his potential future at the club, which he regarded as a dream realized. He noted the possibility of being loaned out while awaiting his chance at Dinamo, but remained hopeful about his role in their forthcoming strategies. Despite looking forward to this new chapter, Kulušić also reportedly expressed sorrow over his former club Šibenik's relegation to the 3. NL jug following a challenging season.
