Aston Villa are reportedly expected to finalise the sale of young forward Louie Barry this week in order to keep in line with Financial Fair Play regulations. Barry impressed whilst out on loan with Stockport County last season, scoring 16 goals in all competitions. The club could make pure profit from his sale as he was signed to their academy. It is expected that there is already advanced progress on his transfer, and there is likely to be plenty of interest in him due to his promising career so far.

Aston Villa are planning to recall Louie Barry from Stockport with the intention of loaning him to a Championship club. Tottenham showed interest in signing him permanently, but Villa almost certainly will not allow a transfer to their Premier League rivals as they are preparing Barry for a future role in their squad.
