Lorenzo Pirola Transfer from Olympiakos Piraeus to Torino
Torino is considering bringing back Lorenzo Pirola to Italy. He played for Olympiacos in Greece last season, where he made 33 appearances, but only 15 in the Super League. Pirola, who is a former Monza and Salernitana player, wants to return to Italy to seek more continuity and possibly play for the Italian national team after being a key player for the Under-21 squad. He started his career in Inter's youth sector, moved to Salernitana, and left after their relegation to play in Greece.
Coach Marco Baroni has requested the acquisition of Lorenzo Pirola from Olympiakos. Baroni is interested in signing 3 players for Torino, with Pirola being one of them. Olympiakos is reluctant to part with Pirola for the upcoming season. Pirola is in high demand among top-tier clubs in his country. Currently, Transfermarkt estimates Pirola's market value at 6.00 million euros.
