According to Sporx.com, Dursun Özbek stated at the Bogazici Sports Summit that it is not unrealistic when Galatasaray is linked with a transfer of Lionel Messi (38). In response to a question from a journalist, Özbek said that they have established high standards and made the largest transfer in Turkish football history. He stated that Galatasaray's economic situation allows for such transfers and that they have brought their success to a high level, so the question about Messi can be reasonably asked.
