According to SportsBoom, 23-year-old Chelsea striker Liam Delap will leave the club in the summer and go back to his former club, Ipswich Town, on the condition that they are promoted to the Premier League. The English forward moved to Chelsea from Ipswich in June 2025 for a reported €35.5 million and has a contract with the London club until 2031. Other clubs, including Everton and Celtic, have also recently been linked with the striker. He has received 12 caps for England's U21 team. Recent reports from March 2026 indicate that Chelsea might request around £40 million for the player. Transfermarkt estimates his market value to be €32 million.
