Excelsior and Fortuna Sittard are both interested in loaning 21-year-old Dutch striker Lequincio Zeefuik from AZ for the upcoming season. According to Voetbal International, Fortuna Sittard has already held talks with the player. Zeefuik reportedly would consider a move to Fortuna Sittard a good next step. Negotiations have stalled because AZ, which has told the player he can find a new club, would prefer a permanent sale. Both interested clubs are unable to meet AZ's conditions for a permanent transfer. Zeefuik has a contract with AZ until the summer of 2029. Last season, the forward made 23 Eredivisie appearances, scoring two goals and providing one assist. He has been capped twice for the Netherlands U21 team.
