Tuttomercato has reported on the growing competition among clubs to secure the signature of 27-year-old Italian goalkeeper Leonardo Marson. Previously associated with Cosenza, Marson is attracting interest from Audace Cerignola, Ravenna, and Casertana, with the latter having recently joined the fray. Il Mattino has indicated that this transfer is part of several outgoing moves being finalized by Avellino, with Marson expected to depart alongside players such as Damiano Cancellieri, who is heading to Gubbio, Marco Toscano to Casertana, and Paolo Frascatore to Crotone. The race for Marson's signature has intensified following Casertana's last-minute entry, adding to the existing interest from Audace Cerignola and Ravenna. Marson's contract with Avellino is valid until June 2026, and his market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €250,000.
