Three clubs from Brazil, Bahia, Corinthians, and Grêmio, have enquired about the conditions for a potential deal for Southampton's 27-year-old Brazilian-Luxembourgish attacking midfielder, Léo Scienza. Bahia operates within the City Football Group structure. A move to Brazil is considered extremely difficult because of Scienza's €29m (£25m) release clause, a valuation that is more than what Brazilian clubs are expected to invest. The player has indicated a preference to continue his career in Europe and has stated that the Premier League is his main target. Several English clubs, including Tottenham Hotspur, Aston Villa, and Leeds United, are reportedly conducting internal checks on him. Scienza, who joined Southampton in September 2025, has a contract with the club until June 2029 and a current Transfermarkt market value of €10.00m.
