Léo Petrot has been signed by Elche from Saint-Étienne. He has signed a contract until June 2026. The player is capable of playing as a left-back and also as a central defender. Last season, he was a key player for Saint-Étienne with 31 official matches played, over 2,000 minutes accumulated, and three assists. Petrot, who is 28 years old, developed most of his career at AS Saint-Étienne, although he also had brief stints at Andréxieux FC and FC Lorient. He becomes the second signing for Elche as they return to Primera, following the acquisition of Germán Valera from Valencia.
