Director general Pedro Schinocca confirmed that Elche is maintaining negotiations with French left-back Léo Pétrot, 29, to extend his contract. Pétrot, who joined the club in July 2025, has a contract that runs until June 2027. In the 2025/2026 LaLiga season, he made 32 appearances. His current Transfermarkt market value is €1.50m.
