Club Brugge is attempting to sign 24-year-old South Korean defender Han-beom Lee from FC Midtjylland, where he is in the final year of his contract. Sacha Tavolieri reported that talks with the Danish club are progressing and that the player is receptive to the move. Lee has already reached a personal agreement with Club Brugge, who are also close to finalising a deal with Midtjylland. This comes despite interest from the Premier League. Tipsbladet states this interest includes Chelsea, Liverpool, Newcastle, Brighton, and Leeds, who have been observing him since his World Cup performances. The same outlet notes that Napoli and Borussia Dortmund are also observing the player, but Lee appears to favour a move to the Belgian club. Lee, who joined Midtjylland in August 2023, has 11 caps for South Korea and a current market value of €3.00m, according to Transfermarkt.
