Leandrinho Transfer from Vasco da Gama to Al Sharjah
Vasco has reached an agreement with Al Sharjah from the United Arab Emirates for the sale of 20-year-old Brazilian left-back Leandrinho. The deal proceeded after Vasco had previously rejected proposals for the player from Al-Shabab of Saudi Arabia and Pafos of Cyprus. Leandrinho, who had a contract until January 2027, requested the transfer to get more playing time, even as coach Fernando Diniz had considered a contract renewal. The club from the United Arab Emirates will pay approximately 2 million dollars for 50% of the player's economic rights. Leandrinho is expected to travel in the coming days to complete his medical exams and sign a contract. The defender joined Vasco in June 2024 and has 10 caps for the Brazil U20 national team. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €1.80m.
