Rennes has joined the race to sign Malian forward Lassine Sinayoko, 25, as they continue to search for a number 9. This move follows earlier interest from Nice and an offer from RC Lens, who have put forward 8 million euros, including bonuses. Despite this, Auxerre has denied that any agreement has been reached with Lens. Sinayoko, although present at Auxerre's training center, did not participate in training, which could suggest that a resolution is imminent or that there is an attempt to pressure Auxerre into allowing his departure. Sinayoko is reportedly still keen on moving to RC Lens. His contract with Auxerre is valid until June 2026, and his market value is estimated at €4.00m by Transfermarkt.
