Krzysztof Piatek, a player for Başakşehir, is on the verge of transferring to Al Duhail, a club in the Qatar Stars League. Italian media have reported that Al Duhail and Başakşehir have reached an agreement on a transfer fee of 10 million Euros plus bonuses. The 29-year-old forward is anticipated to sign a three-year contract with Al Duhail. This transfer is set to become the third highest in Başakşehir's history regarding the transfer fee. The completion of the transfer is contingent upon a medical examination, which Piatek is expected to undergo shortly in Qatar. Since joining Başakşehir in the summer of 2023 from Hertha Berlin, Piatek has made a notable impact by scoring 31 goals and providing 5 assists in 44 matches this season, finishing as the second highest scorer in the Süper Lig, just behind Galatasaray's Victor Osimhen. His impressive performance has attracted significant attention, culminating in this lucrative transfer deal. As Başakşehir looks towards the next season, the club is actively searching for a suitable replacement to occupy the space left by Piatek's departure.
