Hull City have signed English goalkeeper Khiani Shombe following his departure from Southampton. The club signed the goalkeeper on a free transfer. He has been given an 18-month contract running until June 2027 at the MKM Stadium. Shombe, 19, most recently played for fellow Championship side Southampton before his exit. The teenager has said that he is delighted, buzzing, and happy that the move was completed before the deadline, and that he cannot wait to get started. He also said that he found out Hull were interested, so he came for a week on trial, spoke to the coaches, and liked it. He added that they showed him a development plan and from then on, it was straightforward to get the deal done.
