Palmeiras is in the process of negotiating the signing of right-back Khellven, who is currently playing for CSKA in Russia. According to reports initially published by Russian media and later confirmed by ESPN, the transfer fee is estimated to be around 5 million euros, which is approximately R$ 32 million. Khellven, aged 24, is anticipated to become part of Palmeiras as the team undertakes a strategic revamp of their defense. This move follows the recent transfer of Mayke to Santos and the expected departure of Marcos Rocha at the season's conclusion. Khellven has a successful history with Athletico-PR, where he won three state championships, the Copa do Brasil in 2019, and the CONMEBOL Sudamericana in 2021, along with a runner-up position in the 2022 Libertadores. In the previous season, he played in 30 matches, scoring four goals and contributing three assists.
