Khadim Diaw Transfer to JS Kabylie
Mauritanian international Khadim Diaw, 27, is a free agent after winning a FIFA case against his former club, Al Hilal, over unpaid wages. According to Africafoot, he had previously reached a principle agreement with JS Kabylie during the summer transfer window. The transfer was initially blocked by Al Hilal, but a source close to the player confirmed to Africafoot that the favorable FIFA ruling now allows him to sign with a new club. JS Kabylie has tracked the situation for months and has a slight advantage, but MC Alger is also a competitor. Africafoot reports that MC Alger's management has approached the player and his entourage directly. The club is reportedly considering a two-year contract with a salary offer slightly superior to JS Kabylie's. The player's representatives have confirmed receiving a proposal and making a counter-offer. However, MC Alger must first free up a foreign player spot in their squad. A reliable source claims the club has committed to resolving this issue before the winter window. The player's representative also confirmed discussions with other clubs, including Simba SC in Tanzania, and stated that they are studying all options. The left-back has earned 22 caps for his country and, according to Transfermarkt, has a market value of €175k.
