Arsenal are competing with Chelsea to sign AIK teenager Kevin Filling, who is the subject of interest from clubs across Europe. According to CaughtOffside, scouts from Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Juventus have been seen watching the youngster this season. It is believed that Arsenal and Chelsea view Filling as a developmental signing, while Liverpool and Juventus are also interested and reportedly consider him capable of eventually transitioning from academy football to senior competition. A transfer package of approximately €20m-€25m has been suggested, which could potentially include bonuses, a sell-on clause and a loan back to AIK.

Arsenal are monitoring 17-year-old AIK centre-forward Kevin Filling, who has also played as a left winger, as a potential project signing. It is reported that the club is looking to capitalize after Manchester United entered negotiations, which were described as concrete, to sign the Swedish and Senegalese player in October but failed to complete the deal. It is also said that Liverpool, Chelsea, and Juventus are monitoring the forward. Filling became part of the AIK senior squad last year. He has 6 caps and 3 goals for the Sweden U19 team. In the 2025/2026 Allsvenskan season, he made 17 appearances, scoring 2 goals and providing 4 assists. His contract with AIK is valid until August 2029, and Transfermarkt estimates his market value to be €4.00m. It was reported in May 2026 that AIK had turned down a bid of approximately £2 million from Swansea City.
