Several top clubs, including FC Porto, FC Chelsea, and Real Madrid, have shown interest in 18-year-old Red Bull Salzburg winger Kerim Alajbegović in recent weeks. A potential summer departure for the Bosnian international is linked to a buy-back clause held by Bayer Leverkusen. The clause is reportedly set at eight million euros. Alajbegović moved to Salzburg six months ago for two million euros. The winger said that he will remain with his current club until the summer and that Leverkusen will probably activate the clause. It is unclear if they would then sell him on immediately. The winger has six caps and one goal for Bosnia-Herzegovina. In the current domestic league season, he has scored six goals and provided one assist in 14 appearances. His contract with Salzburg runs until June 2029, and his current Transfermarkt valuation is €5.00m.
