Doganay is a France U17 international with 10 caps and 1 goal, and he will initially be integrated into Bayer Leverkusen's U19 squad. During the 2025/2026 season in the Championnat National U19, Doganay had 21 appearances, 6 goals, and 2 assists. The club's Geschäftsführer Sport, Simon Rolfes, described Doganay as a very talented and highly interesting player.
