FC Porto is reportedly nearing an agreement to sign 18-year-old winger Kelvin Nkrumah from Ghanaian top-flight club Medeama SC. Nkrumah, who captains Ghana's U-20 national team, has also been called up to the senior 'Black Stars' squad without yet making an appearance. According to Moses Armah, the president of the Tarkwa-based club, FC Porto has prevailed over competition from Austrian teams for the player's signature. If the transfer is completed, Nkrumah is expected to initially join Porto's U-19 squad, with a potential route to the B team managed by João Brandão.
