Karlo Mijo Šimić will join Werder Bremen from Wolfsburg's U-19 team as a free agent upon the expiration of his contract, following weeks of successfully concluded negotiations. According to German media, the 18-year-old Croatian-German striker is set to sign a professional contract and is considered a significant prospect for the future at Weser. Transfer expert Lorenzo Lepore states that an agreement has been reached for a four-year deal. The local Weser Kurier reports that Šimić, who is advised by Werder legend Ivan Klasnić, will be progressively introduced to senior football, initially starting with the club's U-23 team. He has made 10 appearances for the Croatia U19 team, scoring 3 goals.
