Julio Soler, a 20-year-old Argentine who also holds Paraguayan citizenship, is close to moving to Ajax on a loan basis. The left-back, who has been capped 18 times for Argentina's U20 team, has given his consent to the Eredivisie club. Soler joined Bournemouth from Lanús in early 2025 for a fee of eight million euros, but has found the move to the Premier League challenging, making only two brief substitute appearances this season. His current club, where he is contracted until mid-2029, does not appear willing to transfer him permanently. His current market value is €8.00m, according to Transfermarkt.
