Monterrey reportedly has an advantage over rival clubs in the effort to sign Julian Araujo. According to Vamos Azul, new sporting director Dennis the Kloese has already held talks with the representatives of Julian Araujo.

Araujo, who has 16 caps for Mexico, has a contract with AFC Bournemouth until 2029. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €8.00m.
