San Lorenzo is considering Juan Sforza and Pablo Galdames as potential additions to its midfield. There are no advanced negotiations at present. However, the former Newell's player is being considered as a possible addition if a place in the squad becomes available or a player leaves. The club's policy is to only add a player if the transaction does not involve a significant expense and is consistent with their financial situation. Sforza is contracted to Vasco da Gama, which purchased 100% of his rights in February 2024. After a period of not playing regularly at the club following the departure of coach Ramón Díaz, Sforza was loaned to Juventude in August 2025. He played in eight official matches there. That loan has concluded, and the coaching staff, led by Fernando Diniz, is assessing if Sforza will be part of the team for the 2026 season or be loaned out again.
