According to TYC, former Huracán player Juan Gauto has joined Platense as a new reinforcement. The footballer, who belongs to Basel of Switzerland, joins on a one-year loan that is free of charge and includes a purchase option. Gauto played in the 2023 U20 World Cup with the Argentine National Team.

Juan Gauto, a 21-year-old Argentinian winger, is set to return to Argentina after being left out of FC Basel's training camp and not receiving a place on the SFL squad list. In the summer, the club's sporting director had rejected loan offers for the winger to give him a new chance, but a move is now proceeding. Gauto will join the first division club Platense on loan. Platense is at the bottom of the table, and it is reported that the team will also have an option to purchase the player. Gauto joined FC Basel in August 2023 and has a contract with the club until June 2028. He has been capped 11 times by the Argentina U20 team, for which he has scored two goals. In the current Promotion League season, he has made 4 appearances and provided 2 assists. His Transfermarkt market value is currently €500k.
