Universitatea Cluj has finalized a deal with Bosnian forward Jovo Lukic, who was part of Universitatea Craiova's squad last season. The club made the announcement on their official website. Lukic, aged 26, had joined Universitatea Craiova from Borac Banja Luka in September 2024. Throughout his tenure at Universitatea Craiova, he appeared in 31 matches across the Superliga and Cupa României, netting two goals, one of which was against "U" Cluj during the Superliga play-offs. His transfer to Universitatea Cluj is among several new acquisitions by the club this summer, which also include players such as Atanas Trică, Mouhamadou Drammeh, and Jonathan Cisse.
