Joshua Zirkzee Transfer from Manchester United to Sunderland
Sunderland is considering entering the race for Dutch striker Joshua Zirkzee, according to a report from TBR Football, which describes the ambitious promoted club as being cautiously interested. Zirkzee is currently a substitute at Manchester United under manager Ruben Amorim and wants more playing time with the World Cup approaching next year, making a winter transfer seem logical, a move United is reportedly willing to cooperate with. AS Roma has also been noted as a potential destination for the 24-year-old. However, TBR Football suggests a return to Italy, where Zirkzee previously impressed with Bologna, is the most likely scenario, possibly on a loan basis. Last summer, he was also linked with Juventus, Napoli, and AC Milan. The striker's contract at Manchester United runs until June 2029, and his market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €30 million.
