Feyenoord is interested in signing Norwegian midfielder Joshua Kitolano from city rivals Sparta Rotterdam. According to Voetbal International, Feyenoord is aiming for a summer transfer. The 24-year-old is considered an interesting option because his contract with Sparta expires at the end of June, making him available on a free transfer. Kitolano does not appear likely to extend his expiring contract. In a comment to the AD, Feyenoord's Dennis te Kloese stated that he would have preferred if Kitolano had not played in the recent match against his club.
