According to Lewis Steele of the Daily Mail, Chelsea had been considering a move for Liverpool's 15-year-old player, Josh Abe, in what was termed a revenge mission after Liverpool signed Rio Ngumoha. However, Chelsea are now no longer pursuing the player because of their academy transfer ban.
