José Matos Transfer from Cádiz to Ceuta
According to Mundo Deportivo, José Matos has transferred to Ceuta on a two-year contract. The 30-year-old player, who previously played for Cádiz last season, brings extensive experience with over 230 matches in Spain's second division. Before his stint at Cádiz, Matos was part of Burgos and had been involved with Sevilla's youth academy, played for Twente in the Netherlands, and was on loan to Málaga. As Ceuta returns to professional football after a long absence, the club is concentrating on establishing a competitive team by acquiring experienced players. Matos, who participated in 27 matches last season with Cádiz, contributing one goal and two assists, is regarded as a valuable addition to strengthen the team's defense.
