According to Sky, AS Monaco has reached what is described as a basic agreement with Jordy Makengo regarding a transfer. SC Freiburg is currently not interested in allowing Makengo to leave. Jordy Makengo is seeking a transfer and is currently only a rotation player at Freiburg.

Sacha Tavolieri reports that AS Monaco and SC Freiburg are in ongoing transfer negotiations for Jordy Makengo. AS Monaco is attempting a loan with an obligation to buy for the player, but discussions are difficult as SC Freiburg maintains a firm position and wants €15M for him.

Jordy Makengo, a 23-year-old left-back, is currently linked with a move to Olympiakos Piräus. Last season, he had 20 appearances for SC Freiburg, ten of which were in the starting lineup. However, the 2024/25 season has not been going well for him, with only 67 minutes played in seven matches.

Olympiakos Piräus has shown interest in Jordy Makengo from SC Freiburg. Both the player and his current club are open to a separation.
