TEAMtalk reports that Juventus will permit 26-year-old Canadian centre-forward Jonathan David to leave this summer if they can secure another top international striker on a contract. Intermediaries familiar with the situation have spoken to a number of Premier League clubs, including Leeds, Manchester United, Aston Villa, Newcastle, and Tottenham, and have updated them on the matter. David's representatives publicly state he is settled in Turin, though they are aware a transfer could become possible. The likelihood of his departure will reportedly increase significantly if Juventus persuades their striker Dusan Vlahovic to sign a new contract, as his current one is set to expire. Juventus have now re-engaged in negotiations with Vlahovic, and sources have informed TEAMtalk that the club's leadership is prepared to make him an improved offer to stay. David joined Juventus in July 2025 and has a contract until 2030. He has scored 4 goals in 5 Serie A appearances this season. The Canadian international has 73 caps and 37 goals for his country, and a current Transfermarkt market value of €35.00m. Before his move to Juventus, his previous club Lille reportedly had an asking price of around €35 million in July 2024.
