AGF confirmed on Wednesday that they have sold Jonas Jensen-Abbew, a 24-year-old Danish-Ghanaian defender, to the Dutch club ADO Den Haag. He has signed a contract with ADO Den Haag that is valid until the summer of 2030. AGF's football director, Carsten V. Jensen, explained that with the prospect of significant competition for a regular spot, the transfer is a beneficial opportunity for the player to develop his potential in a strong league in Holland. Jensen added that Jensen-Abbew had participated for the defending Danish champions during their title-winning season. Jonas Jensen-Abbew has been capped three times for Denmark's U21 team and joined AGF in February 2024. His current market value is €750k, according to Transfermarkt.
