Joel Ndala was recalled by Manchester City from Hull City.

Joel Ndala, who joined Hull City from Manchester City on a season-long loan last summer to add attacking depth, now has an uncertain future at the club. The 19-year-old's loan spell could be cut short this winter, as Hull are linked with a move for Liverpool attacker Lewis Koumas. Should Koumas join, it is suggested Ndala may return to Manchester City prematurely before the end of the month, as Hull are only permitted to name five loanees in a matchday squad. If he does return to Manchester City, they would then have to decide on his immediate future before the January transfer window closes.
