Joël Piroe leaving Leeds United?
According to Team Talk, Joel Piroe is strongly linked with an exit from Leeds this month. Sources have confirmed that the striker will be allowed to leave this month if a suitable offer is received and subject to Leeds signing a replacement.
Joel Piroe has been linked with a move away from Leeds United. A report from The Guardian states that Leeds United are under pressure to sell players by June 30th to comply with PSR. Leeds could look to sell the striker this month. The club signed the Dutch striker for a fee of around £10 million in 2023, and it seems unlikely that they will be able to recover that fee. They will probably have to accept a loss on the player. The player will be looking to join a competitive team where he will play regularly, and it has been suggested that returning to the second division of English football might be ideal for him.
Joel Piroe’s tumble down the pecking order at Elland Road has left many questioning if the 26-year-old striker could be allowed to leave Leeds in the January transfer window. Sources are rating those chances and explaining what is next for the Dutch striker. His contract with the club runs until June 2027, and his market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €18.00m.
