João Oliveira Transfer from Arka Gdynia to Wieczysta Kraków
At the end of August, reports indicated that Arka Gdynia and Wieczysta Kraków had reached an agreement for João Oliveira's transfer to Kraków. Journalist Piotr Koźmiński reported that the clubs agreed on a permanent transfer and the winger had settled personal terms. However, over a week has passed without confirmation, and portal trojmiasto.pl now reports that the chances of the transfer have 'definitely decreased', mainly due to Wieczysta Kraków signing two other wingers.
The management of Wieczysta Kraków is close to acquiring João Oliveira from Arka Gdynia. The clubs are reported to have reached an agreement, according to Piotr Koźmiński from Goal.pl. Oliveira has reportedly also agreed to a one-year contract with Wieczysta, with an option for extension. The transfer involves a definitive move.
Wieczysta Kraków has shown interest in acquiring João Oliveira from Arka Gdynia. The club is reportedly not adamant about keeping Oliveira at all costs and is open to ending his contract a year ahead of its expiration. Piotr Koźmiński from Goal.pl mentioned that both Wieczysta Kraków and Wisła Kraków are eyeing the Swiss winger for a potential transfer. This interest arises as Arka Gdynia, recently promoted to the top division, is willing to part with Oliveira, who has participated in all three of this season's matches, appearing once as a substitute and twice as a starter. Last season, the 29-year-old made a significant impact by scoring five goals and providing five assists in 35 matches, aiding his team in achieving direct promotion. Nevertheless, with Arka Gdynia not prioritizing his retention, Oliveira's likelihood of returning to the I liga appears high if he considers joining one of these clubs.
