Sławomir Peszko, the vice president for sports at Wieczysta Kraków, revealed that 28-year-old Finnish centre-forward Benjamin Källman had wanted to join the club and made contact through Maigaard. Peszko confirmed that Wieczysta was strongly interested. A fee of 2.5 million euros must be paid for the player, who is under contract with Hannover 96 until 2028. The vice president also stated his belief that Källman had expected Hannover to be promoted, which would have resulted in a better contract. Peszko also stated that Källman would earn more at Wieczysta Kraków than he currently does in the 2. Bundesliga. Källman joined Hannover in July 2025 and has 38 caps and 10 goals for Finland.
