Jhon Córdoba Transfer from Malacateco to Newell's Old Boys
Millonarios has reached an agreement with Newell’s Old Boys for Jhon Emerson Córdoba to join the Argentine club in the latter half of the year. The economic terms have been fully settled, and the teams are in the process of exchanging documentation. It has been reported that Cristian Fabbiani, the current coach of Newell’s, has shown interest in the player. Córdoba, who lost his starting position to Daniel Ruiz, is leaving due to limited playing time with Millonarios. Despite interest from Boca Juniors and Vélez Sarsfield, Newell's acted swiftly to finalize the deal. Should the transfer be completed, Córdoba will become the 13th Colombian to play for Newell's Old Boys, joining notable players like Willer Ditta and Iván Arboleda.
