Millonarios has decided to negotiate the transfer of Jhon Emerson Córdoba to Newell's Old Boys. According to journalist Julián Capera, Millonarios has started exchanging documentation for the transfer, and it's only a matter of days before the formal agreement and Córdoba's arrival in Argentine football are announced. Newell's Old Boys intends to acquire 60% of Córdoba's rights.
Millonarios bought 80% of Jhon Emerson Córdoba's economic rights for approximately 650,000 USD. Newell's is interested in obtaining up to 60% of Córdoba's rights. Millonarios is looking to recover their investment and is open to transferring him.
