Jesherun Simeon, a 16-year-old Dutch-Nigerian winger, is set to extend his contract with Ajax, a move that will keep the attacker away from numerous interested foreign clubs. The contract negotiations had been ongoing since June 2025 and were reportedly very lengthy. According to sources close to the player and the club, Ajax has now succeeded in keeping the youth international. Simeon has 6 caps and 4 goals for the Netherlands U17 team and already plays for the U19 team. A verbal agreement has been reached between the parties for a contract extension until 2029.
