Ecuadorian international Jeremy Sarmiento, a 23-year-old winger, has been linked to Liga de Quito, but the operation is not financially feasible for them. Sarmiento has 24 caps for his country. He is currently on loan at US Cremonese from Brighton & Hove Albion and has made 7 appearances in Serie A this season. It is reported that in August 2025, Cremonese's loan deal included a €4 million option to buy.
