VfB Stuttgart is seeking a loan club for 21-year-old striker Jeremy Arévalo to help him develop at a higher level for a potential return to the first team. Deportivo A Coruña and Racing Strasbourg have been mentioned as possible destinations. Espanyol Barcelona, FC Getafe, and Deportivo Alavés are also considering signing the Ecuadorian. However, it is reported that interested clubs are hesitant to pay Arévalo's entire salary, which is 1.8 million euros per season. These clubs are also pausing due to Stuttgart's demand for guaranteed playing time. Arévalo has four caps for Ecuador and joined Stuttgart in January 2026 from Racing Santander for a fee reported to be €7 million. His contract runs until 2031. Transfermarkt estimates his current market value at €7.00m.
