The English side Burnley scouted 20-year-old midfielder Jens Hjertø-Dahl in a league game in April. More recently, Rangers had a significant bid of around £5m for the Norway Under-21 international rejected by his club, Tromsø. This followed a rejected offer from Beşiktaş in January 2026 that was reportedly worth around €9.4m, and the player signed a new contract with Tromsø in February that runs for three more years.
