French centre-back Jean-Clair Todibo, 26, is unlikely to remain at the club after the summer transfer window. Todibo previously had conflicts with both Julen Lopetegui and Graham Potter. The Athletic reports that Todibo reacted angrily to being substituted by Nuno in the 26th minute of their 3-1 defeat by Newcastle in the penultimate game. Todibo had an argument with Nuno over the decision and later complained to goalkeeping coach Rui Barbosa and refused to be named on the bench in the final game. Todibo, who has two caps for France, joined West Ham in July 2025 and has a current market value of €23.00m according to Transfermarkt.
